Grand Opening of new Elsie Austin Change Rooms

Mt Helena Junior Football Club is incredibly proud to celebrate the opening of our new fully accessible change rooms at Elsie Austin Oval.

This project is about so much more than new facilities - it's about making sure everyone feels welcome, included and able to be part of our club. As our Starkick program has grown, it has highlighted just how important accessible facilities are for people living with disability and their families. Seeing the impact Starkick has had on so many local families helped make accessibility a clear priority for our club.

The official opening was a wonderful reflection of what Mt Helena JFC is all about. Players, families, volunteers, local leaders and neighbouring clubs came together to celebrate a space that will benefit our community for years to come. It was a reminder that football is at its best when clubs work together, support one another and create opportunities for everyone to belong.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life. These new change rooms represent our commitment to building a club where inclusion isn't just something we talk about - it's something we continue to invest in.

We're excited to see the new facilities used by all players and visitors to Elsie Austin Oval and look forward to creating many more memories in a space that truly reflects the values of our club.
